RISING DAMP TREATMENT
If a building doesn’t have a damp proof course, it has become damaged, or the interior or exterior ground level is raised, it will be an easy target for rising damp. It can cause various problems, including serious health issues, heat loss and damage to structure of building. The main signs of identifying rising damp include wallpaper bubbling or falling off, cracks & bubbles on the walls, damp patches, mould, stains, rotting or decaying skirting boards.
Rising Damp Treatment
The best way to treat rising damp is to repair the damp proof course or, if there isn’t one, install a new one. This is done by drilling holes in the damp wall to inject a damp proof membrane into it and then replace any damaged plaster. We can do all of this for you here at Damp Proofing, fast and efficiently.
Once damp has been eliminated, we can set up an invisible barrier against further rising damp. This involves injecting a concentrated cream that creates a chemical reaction and forms an invisible barrier against rising damp.
